The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.
Burger King Scholarship
Created in memory of BURGER KING® Co-founder James “Jim” W. McLamore, the BURGER KING℠ Scholars program has awarded $35 million in scholarships to more than 33,000 high school students, BK® employees and their families across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico since 2000.
Horatio Alger Scholarship
As one of the nation's largest need-based college scholarship programs in the country, the Horatio Alger Scholarship Programs specifically assist high school students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives. While many programs are directed primarily to recognizing academic achievement or leadership potential, the Horatio Alger Association seeks students who have exhibited determination, integrity, and perseverance in overcoming adversity, as well as have critical financial need.
Wendy’s High School Heisman
The Wendy’s® High School Heisman® Scholarship was created by Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas in 1994. Eligibility begins with maintaining a GPA of 3.0 (B average) or better. Applicants also need to be proven leaders and role models within their school and community. And applicants must perform in at least one of the 47 school sponsored sports recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games or the National Federation of State High School Associations.
Project 21 Scholarship
The Missouri Gaming Association sponsors the Project 21 Scholarship Program. The goal of the program is to inform youth that it is not permissible in Missouri for persons under the age of 21 to gamble in a casino, but also to educate them about the dangers and consequences associated with underage gambling. This scholarship program provides Missouri students the opportunity to disseminate their message by writing an article or creating a poster or video addressing the issue of underage gambling. Two $1,500.00 first prize scholarships and four $1,000.00 second prize scholarships will be awarded.
When it comes to funding your education, winning scholarships and grants should be one of your top priorities. Missouri School Board Association-John Belcher Scholarship
MSBA FutureBuilders established the scholarship program in memory of John T. Belcher, who was instrumental in developing innovative financing programs for Missouri school districts. The learning environment for thousands of Missouri’s public school students improved as a result of his work.
A $1000 annual scholarship is awarded to a student in each of MSBA’s 17 regions. Applicants are judged on the basis of academic performance, extracurricular activities and the quality of an essay. A statewide winner is selected from this group of regional winners and awarded an additional $1500. Scroll below to read the essays from each region.
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship for high achieving, self-motivated students. Recipients must graduate from a public high school located in a county having fewer than 50,000 residents, and enroll at a four-year college or university the first semester following high school graduation.
The Purpose of the Hagan Scholarship is to provide each recipient with the opportunity to obtain a four-year college education and graduate debt free. The Free Workshops, Schwab Accounts, and Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically taught as a part of the school curriculum. Six hundred twenty two Hagan Scholars from thirty seven states currently attend two hundred thirty six colleges and universities.
Epsilon Sigma Alpha International Scholarship
In 1929, ESA was chartered in Jacksonville, Texas for the purpose of preparing its members to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world. More than 80 years later, ESA continues to meet this original goal through the educational, leadership, and service programs that were born through the organization’s commitment to making a positive difference for its members and the causes they support. The scholarship supports young people who are interested in making a difference through their community and the various causes they support.
National Beta Scholarship
The National Beta Scholarship Program offers over $300,000 in scholarships to outstanding Beta members in their 12th grade year. Over 250 scholarships are awarded each year, ranging in value from $1,000 to $15,000. Incredibly, since 1991, Beta has awarded more than $6 million in scholarships.
Missouri S & T will be offering the Chancellor’s Scholarship. This is a renewable scholarship valued at $12,000.00 per year for four years. Students must have a 3.75 GPA or be in the upper 10% of their senior class.
Christian Connector Scholarship
The Christian Connector provides a free Christian college information service as well as $2,500.00 scholarship drawing. Just visit the website listed below to request information and to be automatically entered into the $2,500.00 scholarship drawing. This website offers around $150 million in scholarships provided by participating Christian Colleges.
Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend the nation’s best 4 year colleges and universities. Students may receive up to $40,000.00 per year, college planning support, ongoing advising, and a networking opportunity with the larger JKCF Scholar community. You must have a 3.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and have an ACT composite score of 26 or higher.
Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarship
The Ronald McDonald House Charities offer a U.S. Scholarship Program for seniors.
James and Nellie Westlake Scholarship is available for high school seniors who are residents of Missouri with a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale with a family adjusted gross income of $50,000.00.
Arch City Granite Scholarship
Arch City Granite will award a scholarship to Missouri and Illinois students to help pay for college expenses.
American College Foundation Visionary Scholarship
Established exclusively with high school students and their parents in mind, the American College Foundation (ACF) provides vital process-driven details and procedures to help ensure the student receives the best college education at the most competitive price. The ACF offers the $5,000.00 Visionary Scholarship.
Prudential Spirit of Community Awards
The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program is the United States’ largest youth recognition program based exclusively on volunteer community service.
Created in 1995 by Prudential and the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), the program honors middle level and high school students for outstanding service to others at the local, state and national level.
Thus far, it has recognized more than 125,000 young people who’ve made a difference – and inspired countless others to consider how they might contribute to their communities.
Staats Awards and the Missouri Association of Fairs and Festivals (MAFF) Past Presidents Scholarship
The MAFF Past Presidents Club administers the scholarship, funded by Staats Awards. Staats Awards has been servicing the fair industry for over 110 years and wishes to be a part of preserving the fair industry for future generations. Staats has committed an annual gift of $1,000 to assist the recipient of this scholarship to continue their education at the two- or four-year college level.
